Americans Baseball Club: Since 1980-----Tradition & Excellence The Americans Baseball Club have been playing America's Pastime-BASEBALL on Florida's Space Coast since June 30, 1980. Over the last 30 Seasons, the Americans have compiled an impressive lifetime team record winning percentage of 73.2 against the top teams in Amateur, Semi-Pro, Collegiate, & Olympic in various age divisions and competitive classifications of AAAA & AAA Baseball. Some of our past opponents and friends include:
The Americans TEAM has the honor and respect of being one of the most competitive and strongest baseball team organizations in Florida, Nationally, and Internationally. Americans compete with goodwill & community spirit and share a common bond of Baseball and comradie with many international friends. Americans still have standing invitations to Moscow, South Africa, England, Switzerland, & Holland anytime we are able to attend. The Americans Baseball Club Team Roster consists of mostly experienced, talented, & fun-loving baseball players who have either played professionally, in the college ranks, or living their own "field of dreams" baseball experience. The Americans TEAM is a positive fun-loving mix of players who have a real love of the game of baseball and know how to win. Americans enjoy sharing their love of the game in very FUN Americans style with friends, fans, & opponents. The Americans enjoy & respect the GAME with the after game social experience. "Baseball, the AMERICANS Way" is an unique lifestyle for a Special TEAM that has an oustanding successful Team Record of Tradition and Excellence since 1980. The Americans today compete in Baseball Divisions of Unlimited Age; 28-over; 38-over; & 48-over during the current Baseball Season & Roy Hobbs World Series each year. The Americans Lifetime Team Record is posted on Home Page of our website at www.americansbaseball.com with over 1700 games played with a 73% Winning Percentage to date. The "Victory Meter" is still running with an awesome success rate. Currently, the Americans hold the following Championship Titles:
The Americans will compete in 2009 in their 21st straight Roy Hobbs World Series (a World Series Record). The Americans have won 5 Roy Hobbs World Series Championships (1991; 1998; 2000; 2006, & 2008). Some other Americans Milestones include the following:
Quite a Baseball History for the Americans "Ageless Wonders"whose roster age averages close to 39 years. A Special unique footnote is the Americans are primary a "regular season roster team" at most every game they play. This point is made because the Americans usually encounter "All-Star Teams" in tournaments and at the World Series. Our Americans are proud of that fact, and enjoy the challenge when they compete as an "Underdog". Our Americans are dessribed as "Underdogs"; "Misfits"; "Ageless"; & "Champions"-------truly AMERICANS! It's all Americans wish to continue playing and sharing "Baseball, the Americans Way". Americans will continue to promote Baseball and the Space Coast; Florida; and the USA wherever & whenever Americans are fortunate enough to play this great game. The economics of being a top competitor is tremendmous and has not hindered the Americans desire to play BASEBALL. The Americans have never had a "World Class" Sponsor or Partner in all the years of their existence as a Baseball Organization. Americans Teams have struggled & survived every challenge each year by collecting player fees, promoting fundraisers when they get time, and mostly by the generous donations of "Friends in Business". The Financial Challenge is forever present with each season, tourney, and the Roy Hobbs World Series. AMERICANS have 3 Major Goals for the 2009 (30th Anniversary) Season and the Roy Hobbs World Series as follows:
Americans will continue to represent our TEAM, Partners, Fans, Family, and the SPACE COAST with "Pride, Goodwill, & share the "Love of a great Game---Baseball!"
