2011 AMERICANS Player News for the ROY HOBBS WORLD SERIES |

AMERICANS are set to return to the Roy Hobbs World Series at FT. Myers, FL with 38+, 48+, & 55+ Teams. It will be our 23rd straight World Series! The Veterans 38+ Team will compete October 23-29. The Masters 48+ Team will compete the following week from Oct 30-Nov 5. The Legends 55+ Team will compete the following week from Nov 6-12. Friday, November 11th is a Holiday (Veterans Day). Wednesdays each week are scheduled "OFF Days" set aside for Rainouts. PLAYER REGISTRATION starts on SATURDAYS (Oct 22, 29, & Nov 5) & Tournament Play begins on Sundays as the Playoffs begin on Thursdays in each Division for AAA & AAAA. CURRENT ROSTERS BELOW at the end of this Newsletter. Are you on it? ARE YOU PAID? AGE RULE for underage Players now in effect for 2011: 3 players from 35-37 by Dec 31st are eligible for 38+ Division. Underage players 45-47 by Dec 31st are now eligible for 48+ Division. 3 players from 52-54 are eligible for 55+ Division. None of these Players can PITCH in the World Series. The Roster spots just got more competitive! AMERICANS WORLD SERIES PLAYER FEE is $175.00 and ALL FEES have to be paid by August 24th. AFTER Aug 24th, PLAYER FEES go to $250.00 a player. All AMERICANS Players are expected to purchase all required Americans Uniforms for the World Series and retain ownership for future Seasons & Tourneys. YOU may RENT the Uniform for $40.00 and return it after the World Series if you desire. The NEW Jerseys are very durable and will last your entire BASEBALL LIFE (I just hope you hang in there for a few years!) We have NEW and USED Uniforms currently in stock or we can order uniform items for you if we have 30 plus days to do. There's an inventory list below. We can order UNIFORMS presently. IF YOU ARE NEW PLAYER JUST PLAYING IN THE WORLD SERIES and possibly considering playing pass this World Series-----you have the option of buying your uniform and continue playing pass the World Series or you can just RENT an uniform jersey & pants with socks/belt/hat for the Fall & World Series for $40.00 and then return your uniform after the World Series with no guarantees of ever playing again as an American. You must purchase your Custom Hats at $20.00@ and the Hats are yours to keep. NOTE: WE PLAY WOOD BAT ONLY in the World Series! We are playing in the Fall Wood Bat Division of the BCBL until the RHWS. EACH WEEK OF THE WORLD SERIES IS A WEEK LONG COMMITMENT----WE HAVE WEDNESDAY OFF IF THERE'S NO BAD WEATHER! YOU HAVE TO PAY ALL YOUR EXPENSES INCLUDING TRAVEL, LODGING, FOOD, BEER OR DRINK, ETC. ALL OUR PLAYERS HAVE THEIR OWN WOOD BATS, BATTING HELMETS, although We do have Team Bats and Helmets if needed, AND ANY OTHER GEAR THEY MAY NEED TO PLAY. AMERICANS HAVE TO OPTION TO STAY WHEREVER THEY WANT TO STAY, BUT WE HAVE DESIGNATED AN AMERICANS HOST HOTEL AS AMERICANS TEAM HEADQUARTERS WHERE THE BIG KAHUNA IS STAYING.
